You are a battle cry caught in a pair of lungs and you are so brave just for being here.
Everyone always says treat your body like a temple, but that’s always felt off. A temple is too empty, too much stone, mortar, not enough heat.
Treat your body like the first house you fell in love with. Leave the fireplace lit. Hang pictures on the wall. Leave a welcome mat on the good days and a “do not disturb” sign on the bad ones.
